The Big Reveal

Today is the big reveal day! I get to tell you about my Foodie Pen Pals Box i got for the month of September. This was also my first time doing the program.

In case you are not familiar with the whole Foodie Pen Pals thing. It is a exclusive club that no one can get in too. LOL... Just Kidding! It is a fun and interesting way to be a Pen Pal. It started a year ago this September, and has really grown. It is for USA and UK and Canada residents. Here is a little about how it works. After you sign up at the link above. (The highlighted Foodie Pen Pals)
-On the 5th of the month, you will receive your pen pal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your pen pal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your pen pal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!

OK..... So with out further adieu.... Here it is

I got a great and Yummy box from T.J. Johnson  from Colorado. So here is a break down of what was in it. Starting with the Beautiful card he send with the explanation.
-The card is a pic of The Glass Museum in Tacoma, WA.
- A Justin's Peanut Butter cups in Dark Chocolate. ( They were the first thing in my belly :) )
- O.N.E coconut water
- Annie Chun's Seaweed Chips with Sesame
- Nude Food Chocolate Chia Bar
- KIND bar
- 2 Chia Shots
- Sweet Chili Sauce

I was at school when the box came. So when i got home i came home to a open box and had to fit my family to get away. LOL The first thing i eat when i saw it was the Justin's PB cups. YUM! They are so good. can' ever get tired of them. The Chia seed shots were so cool. I have not seen any of these around here. So i was really excited to try them out. They were really yummy and filling. Great in yogurt or straight in the mouth. Loved them. The KIND bar was next to go, they are great to go bars. And with our family of 5 and me in school full time. It was a great and much needed snack. The O.N.E. coconut water is always great. If you have never tried it, i recommend it. And then of course the seaweed chips. My daughter loved them! she claimed the whole package. I got to take a few but they went to her room and never returned.LOL

I loved my box! And i enjoyed the whole thing so much that i have signed up for next month too. If you are interested in it, i hope you will sign up too.
